How strange it is

to love

and to know

this won’t last

forever.

We are a part

of a bigger story

of a much greater love

than our own.

And we agreed

at the start

that death would part us.

But I’ve come to

the conclusion

that whatever may be,

If this should

end tomorrow,

it has been more

than I deserved.

And if this should end

in sixty years,

it would still

not be enough.

Because there’s no amount

of you I get

where I still wouldn’t like

just a little more.

How sweet it is

to walk

hand and hand

With you

To eternity.
